Young Writers Award - perfect for the hols!
And talking of Usborne…
If your kids are now on School holidays (like ours) you might be interested in finding them something to do :-)
For the last couple of years we’ve worked on the website for Usborne’s Young Writers Award… which is a really cool competition to encourage kids to have a go at finishing a story that one of Usborne’s authors has started. What a great idea.
Entries are sent in from the child’s school, but there’s nothing to stop you taking a look and getting your child started. Nice one Usborne.
(Yes we are bias, but we think their childrens books are wicked, especially for the the summer).
